today feels so saturday-ish. i keep thinking it's saturday. maybe cos every saturday i do the same thing. i wake up early in the morning for dance. have dance until the afternoon. go eat with the dancers. and then come home. and today was like that. so i keep thinking that tmr's sunday. haha. so strange.

"Things can never stay the same, so we shouldn't expect them to. What's important isn't missing the past, but treasuring and focusing on what we have now, before it's too late and we're forced to miss it too."

i came across this quote that i wrote down maybe 2 years ago ? it might not be word for word..but i just wrote down the basic idea. it's from this cartoon on nickelodeon called as told by ginger. and up till today it's still one of my favourites cos i think it makes alot of sense. well..at least it does to me. alot of times i find myself looking back and feeling sad cos of how things have become or changed..and wishing that things could go back to the way they were. but in life, the truth is that things can never the same. cos people and circumstances are everchanging. and by expecting them to stay the same, it's sort of like bringing yourself extra worries and sadness. it's hard accepting the fact that we can never go back no matter how hard we try, but it's only when we accept it that we can move on in life, and fully treasure what we have now. it's alright to miss the past, but it's also important to understand that that's all it is...the past. and we can never change it or return to it. but we have the power to change the present, to do what we want to do, and to cherish the people who mean the most to us. and that's what really matters i guess. and i think that's a really important way to look at things in life, that i still haven't fully learnt to do yet.see ? cartoons are educational ! haha.

well i went down to borders yesterday where they're having like 20% discount off all books for students. and i bought 4 books ! (: so far the five people you meet in heaven has been really interesting and thought-provoking. and im really tempted to throw all my notes aside and just read. haha. it really makes you think..how the smallest things can make such a big difference, and change the lives of people forever.

"it might seem strange to start a story with an ending. but all endings are beginnings. we just don't know it at the time."

okay this is a really long post. time to go do some work ! (:

i don't mind spending every day
out on your corner in the pouring rain.
