im suffering from severe rapture-withdrawal symptoms now.
i miss dance, dance and MORE DANCE.
i miss seeing the dancers every day.
i miss all the hours we spent working our asses off in the studio.
i miss all our breaks spent in the cafe drinking fruit juice and eating snacks. (though i don't miss cup noodles)
i miss sleeping in the backroom everyday before dance after class.
i miss kallang theatre. i miss its whole atmosphere.
i miss my dearest room G mates.
i miss the perfumed smell of our room, the warm soft glow of the lighting, the subzero temperatures, and the peacefulness of it all.
i miss the madrush of phototaking before the concert.
i miss all the hugs and words of encouragement just minutes before the concert began.
i miss the closeness of the dancers when we gathered and prayed.
i miss the butterflies in my stomach and the heightened feeling of anticipation.
i miss the adrenaline rush that comes with performing.
i miss the bursting happiness and relief and sense of achievement we got when the curtains closed and everything was over.
i miss the feeling that our sweat and blood and tears and everything were all worth it when we heard the cheering and applause from the audience.
i miss everything about rapture.
haha i kinda regret the times when i was so tired after trainings that i wished rapture was all over, cos i'd give anything to have it all back now. oh well, at least there's always next year right.
